On Friday October 2, 2015 the Dallas news published When does this shooting madness end?
The title to this editorial reads "When does this shooting
madness end?" The answer to that question is the "gun free zone"!!
that's the answer. The argument about shooting guns in schools and campuses
has never been to stop it completely, it has been to make these things happen
much less or to create barriers for criminals to get more guns. If the argument
is that criminals can get them off the street then why make it easier for them
to buy at gun shops. Security guards or increased police presence at gun free
zones. There are things that can be done that counter argument is usually let’s
not bothered because it won't stop all of it. Sorry to say but the longer
people wait for action the more drastic it will be when something does pass.
The author is right when he said “A college is
supposed to be a place of refuge or safety.” because our hearts and emotional
should not be hurts every once a while and our life’s should not be shattered
at any time. Then what? They tell us that the shooter are mentally unstable and
subject them to the entire negative backlash that comes along with that. The
author has a good and logic reason to talk about this very critical issue
because shooting is a nightmare for every individual. Ryan Kang claim and evidence
is obvious because we have been suffered a lot from shooting and we still
suffering no one knows till when?
